How can I maintain the success of my pelvic floor therapy in the long term?

To maintain the progress achieved in therapy, it is important to train the pelvic floor muscles regularly and minimise strain on the pelvic floor in everyday life.

Ideally, you should train with the PelvicTool by Alonea 2–3 times per week for about 5 minutes, as continuity is the key to visible progress.

Use the PelvicTool app to select targeted exercises and monitor your progress with the saved training data on your smartphone or tablet. This provides motivation and shows how you are improving.

Pay attention to a relaxed posture and correct execution of the exercises during training to achieve the best results. Pelvic floor training requires patience – give your body time!

If you are unsure or need support, a physiotherapist can help you optimise your technique and reach your goals more quickly. Helpful information can be found here:

Pelvic floor training can not only help prevent bladder weakness. Stronger pelvic floor muscles can also help with back pain and enhance a more pleasurable sex life.
