How often should I do pelvic floor training?

It is recommended to set aside regular time for pelvic floor training in order to achieve noticeable progress.

With training aids such as the PelvicTool by Alonea, the exercises can be easily integrated into everyday life – with very little time required.

For many people, using the PelvicTool about 2–3 times per week for 5 minutes is sufficient. Progress, however, depends on individual factors. Some may notice improvements after a short time, while others may need more time to experience significant results.

What is important is that the training is carried out consistently and the exercises are performed correctly. In addition to targeted training, it is also essential to protect the pelvic floor in daily life, for example by lifting carefully or avoiding excessive abdominal pressure. If you are unsure how to adapt your training to your individual needs, a specialised physiotherapist can provide guidance and create a personalised training plan.

Guide

Pelvic floor training can not only help prevent bladder weakness. Stronger pelvic floor muscles can also help with back pain and enhance a more pleasurable sex life.
