Is training with the PelvicTool suitable for everyone?

In general, yes. The PelvicTool is user-friendly and does not require invasive sensors, making it particularly easy to use. It is ideal for use in physiotherapy as well as for independent training at home. The PelvicTool by Alonea is a great device if you want to improve your pelvic floor awareness and strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. One of its main applications is pelvic floor therapy. We recommend consulting your general practitioner or specialist before using the PelvicTool Home & Sport in the following cases:

  • If you are unsure whether your health or medical condition allows for training with the PelvicTool Home & Sport — for example, if you suffer from heart failure, have undergone spinal surgery, or have a very complex pelvic floor dysfunction.
  • If you are (or should be) undergoing treatment by a general practitioner, specialist, or healthcare provider for a pelvic dysfunction or related symptoms — for example, lower back pain, pelvic instability, or hypertonia.

Guide

Pelvic floor training can not only help prevent bladder weakness. Stronger pelvic floor muscles can also help with back pain and enhance a more pleasurable sex life.
